Tunisia’s Aissa Ledouni, 25, cheered wildly after just a minute against Denmark.
The reason was a tough encounter for Christian Eriksen.
– One decimeter on the side and Eriksen’s career could be over, says Jonas Ericsson at SVT.
A minute into the opening match of the World Cup between Tunisia and Denmark, Aissa Ledoni put everything he could into his duel against Christian Eriksen.
Then the Tunisian let out a roar that could probably be heard across Qatar.
The sliding quarterback’s tackle was cleared wide for a Danish throw-in. Alongside a short-equipped Tunisian national team inside the Education City Stadium, he beat his chest and cried out in joy.
“You can end your career.”
The incident caused a reaction from the SVT experts.
– I think it’s reckless, even if he hits the ball. Otherwise, Eriksen would have likely been out injured for the rest of the tournament and a red card for Al-Aidouni. Nella Fischer says I love players betting, but it’s just too much.
Former judge Jonas Ericsson held the following:
– That’s very sensitive. One decimeter to the side and the career of Christian Eriksen and the championship of Ledoni could end due to a harsh dismissal.
