Jacob Fincham-Dukes took the silver thanks to the second-longest-best jump of the three, but after a Swedish protest, the jury decided the British best-jump should be disqualified for overtaking.
I don’t know about the decision
Jacob Fincham-Dukes had time to celebrate his silver and didn’t know the jury’s decision when Sportbladet asked him to comment on it.
– Didn’t you count? says Fincham Doakes.
– I know the French protested.

After the brief exchange, Fincham-Dukes left the interview and then the arena disappointed. He got scratched in his 8.06 jump and finished fifth instead of second.
After that, even Thobias Montler struggled with his teammate.
– I am a close friend of both the French and the British. Of course I suffer with him. But at the same time, this is the new norm, says Montler.
“I’m not a fan”
