He returned home with the signed Jacob Silverberg club.

A young boy got his wish before Tre Kronor’s encounter with Austria, which was caught by the IIHF International Ice Hockey Federation video.
– His financial hand was the owner of the bright eye. I only leaned in the ‘in zone’, but he yelled and then I saw he was a young guy who wanted a Silfberberg club, the 32-year-old Anaheim forward told Sportbladet.
We have to give him a Swedish shirt.
He laughs and continues:
– Of course I said. But we have to give him a Swedish jersey too because he used to wear a Finnish jersey!
How important is it to nurture the next generation?
– I still have a very strong memory. I was probably 13 or 14 and I played a cup in Ö-vik. We were watching Modo hockey practice when Foppa came down and everyone was yelling for a stick.
“I remember it as it was yesterday.”
Here the story takes an unexpected turn.
– Unfortunately, it wasn’t me who got the club, but I have to be a part of it anyway. There was one other person on the team, as I recall, Sebastian Wanstrom. It may have been 20 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday. I hope I can make this man’s dream come true and that he will have a memory for the rest of his life,” says Jacob Silverberg.
Tre Kronor won the match against Austria 5-0.
