LIFE Tour players are not welcome on the PGA Tour but will be allowed to play the US Open.
The murdered fiancée of Jamal Khashoggi is now highly critical of this decision.

The critically acclaimed and Saudi-backed LIV Tour has completed its first competition. A competition that was surrounded above all by critical questions for the participating players. Once they hit 54 holes, the PGA Tour announced that 17 players are now unwelcome. But at the same time, the US Open announced that it does not intend to prevent players from participating in the tournament.

“If they continue to play as if everything is normal, they should be banned from playing in the biggest leagues in the world. It will show that there are consequences to support the killers and the killers will show that they cannot escape justice,” she says in an email to USA Today. :
“If players and organizations say they are against human rights abuses, they should also act accordingly. Otherwise, their words are just hollow – they were just said to make themselves look better, but that doesn’t change anything in Saudi Arabia.”
She believes that for credible players to appear, it is necessary to act – genuinely.
“They should demand justice for Jamal and the countless people who have been attacked and harassed in the kingdom. They should not take part in sports that are paid for by those responsible for the abuse,” Khadija Cengiz wrote.
As for the other three major tournaments, the British Open, the PGA Championship and the Masters, the LIV players are undecided.
