New York. Jesper Bratt’s scoring streak keeps getting longer and longer.

He was in charge of another assist as New Jersey swept Vancouver last night and he made his mark on the scoresheet in 10 consecutive games.

“I think above all else that we are showing great team spirit in this very important match,” the new Swedish star tells Sportbladet after winning 5-2.

The Rogers Arena match had little time to start Jesper Pratt Extended longest streak record in the NHL now.

Already in a strong 4.36 play in the first period, he posted a perfect sandwich for new radar partner Nico Hescher and was 1-0 to the long-distance guests.

Points in the tenth game in a row

And so this was the tenth consecutive game, out of a possible ten, in which the former AIK player got points.

It also means that, with a total of four goals and 12 assists, he is tied for fourth in the scoring league and second in the nursing league behind Edmonton’s lone star Leon Drystle.

The Devils do a good job as a team as well. Tonight’s victory was their fourth in a row, and with it they top the Metropolitan table.

Shows great team morale.

“This wasn’t our best game but we’re fighting for victory,” says Jesper when we got to him just as the team’s plane was about to take off for Edmonton.

We were good at powerplay and scored in Boxplay and played compactly through all five kids. I think above all we are showing the morale of the team in this very important match.

Jesper Boqvist also got help – just like Elias Pettersson on the Canucks.

Mats Sunden held the longest streak of goals in Swedish National Hockey League history with Quebec Nordic in the fall of 1992. He then produced 30 games in a row.
