Henrik Rydström dismantled his personal nightmare wing against Djurgården.
In the 93rd minute, Lars Saitra headed 1-0 against Kalmar.
– Kalmar plays as a great team, says expert Norden Gerzic.
Eight consecutive losses.
The result was the disastrous training of Henrik Rydström in competitive matches against Kim Bergstrand and Thomas Lagerlöf of Djurgården. Now the wing is finally broken. Redstrom can thank Norway’s Lars Saitra, who decided in the last minutes, for that.
The first half between Kalmar Djurgarden was a nice and intense story. Both teams made their way to a handful of great chances, but tonight’s goalkeepers – Jacob Wedel Zitterström and Ricardo Friedrich – got noticed in the rallies.
We have to be a little more determined when it comes to closing positions, says Oliver Berg at Discovery.
‘We have no grip on Kalmar’
Haris Radetinac wasn’t entirely happy with the guest team’s performance.
– I don’t think we really dominate Kalmar in the new indoor midfield role, said Radetinak.
Immediately after the break, Joel Asuro fought for a free kick but Kalmar’s Brazilian goalkeeper managed to get off. A few minutes later, Weddell Zetterstrom did the same with Noah Shimon’s low shot.
Goalkeepers continue to impress. With all the chances to score goals, it’s odd that the score is 0-0, said discovery expert Norden Gerzic.
Kalmar fifth in the table
At least Kalmar, who put in a very solid effort, went on to create gold positions during the final stages of the match. In the end, the Stockholm wall fell. Long Lars Sitra reached the top of a corner kick and scored 1-0 in the 93rd minute.
– We are very satisfied. The team and I both had a good match. Lars Saetra says: We make sure Djurgården isn’t quite as good as it should be.
The victory meant Kalmar climbed to fifth in the table, one point behind Djurgården (with one more game played).
– Djurgården had to win today to be a gold team. Plus, a team like Djurgorden two points from going is unfortunate, says Norden Jerzic.
