Karl Soderbergh, 37, has sold his luxury villa in Malmö.
He is worth more than seven million crowns after buying the house from Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2015, Sydsvensken reports.
The house in Limhamnsvägen, with 442 square metres, four bedrooms, a lounge and a library, is one of the most impressive in Malmö.
This year it has new owners, and Expressen was the first to tell them about it this spring.
Sold to a business couple
According to Sydsvenskan, former NHL star Karl Soderbergh sold the home to international business couple Bojan Rajamand and Suzanne Arvelt Rajamand.
He is said to have spent more than seven million on the deal because he bought the house from Zlatan Ibrahimovic for SEK 30 million in 2015 and sold it for SEK 37 million eight years later.
Susan Arvelt Rajamand is the CEO of Royal Greenland Corporation, the largest company in Greenland and the largest producer of cold-water shrimp in the world. Pooyan Rajamand is the CEO of Barghest Building Performance from Singapore.
Write about the house in the book
In his book ‘Jag är Zlatan’, the former soccer star wrote about the time he bought the house, which he would often pass by and look into when it was barely there as a child.
He recounted how he and his girlfriend, Helena Seeger, visited the couple who lived in the house and told them they were considering buying it.
“Look at it as a joke if you want to. But I’m serious. I’ll buy the house, I’ll make sure you’re happy, but we’ll have it.”And Zlatan Ibrahimovic wrote that he told the man in the house.
Ibrahimovic and Sigir then sold the house for the same price as he bought it in a deal that was not financially favorable because the couple had invested a lot of money in the renovation.
