Kim Rosdahl leaves Rögle to return to Malmö

Kim Rosdahl returns to Malmö in the SHL.

The 26-year-old forward leaves rival Rogl.

– It’s no straight secret that we watch and care about Malmö products, so it’s completely natural that he’s on our radar, says sporting director Bjorn Leliander.

Last season Kim Rosdahl had great success at Oskarshamn in the series with Fredrik Olofsson and Patrik Karlkvist.

After a heavier autumn without much confidence, the right-handed shooter breaks his two-year contract with Rögle to return to Malmö.

– Its size and attributes fit well with our game. He himself also expressed his great desire to go back and immediately make a difference, says Bjorn Leliander.

debut tonight

Previously, the Malmö son played six seasons for the club’s first team.

Now he’s back in action at home against Leksand on Tuesday night.

– I’m very happy to be back in Malmö again, it’s the club in my heart. It is my home and now I will do everything I can to help the team win matches. I’m really looking forward to wearing the red and black jersey tonight,” says Kim Rossdale.

Replaces Finnish flip-flop

The contract is written during this season and next season, he will play in the number 9 shirt.

Earlier in November, Malmö released failed striker Kristian Visalainen to IFK Helsingfors.

Rögle recalled striker Oliver Tarnström from his loan to Hockeyallsvenskan’s Tingsryd ahead of the CHL’s Tuesday night home run against Salzburg.

In Saturday’s 4-1 away loss against Örebro, Rogl missed out on star attackers Adam Tambellini and Dennis Everberg.
