Kylian Mbappe, 23, is the highest paid soccer player in the world.
Now Le Parisien says they can reveal exactly what his contract will look like.
According to the newspaper, it is worth 7 billion Swedish kronor.
Kylian Mbabes Being or not at PSG has become a national issue – even President Emmanuel Macron has raised him and urged the star to stay.
And so it became.
The French golden boy withdrew from Real Madrid and instead signed a new three-year contract with Qatar-owned club Paris Saint-Germain.
The announcement was made on May 21 this spring, and although it is widely known that the contract is worth several billion kroner, its exact value is unknown.
The biggest ever
Now Le Parisien reports that they have come up with the figures in the contract – and that their total value is 630 million euros, 7 billion kroner, assuming Mbappe stays.
The newspaper states that Mbappe has:
- Annual gross salary of 72 million euros (about 800 million Swedish kronor).
- The login bonus is 180 million euros (about 2 billion Swedish kronor) to be paid in three installments.
- 70 million euros (775 million SEK) in loyalty bonus in 2023, 80 million euros (885 million SEK) in 2024 and 90 million euros (995 million SEK) in 2025.
According to Le Parisien, Kylian Mbappé’s contract is the largest ever signed by an athlete.
strikes back
But according to PSG themselves, this is not at all true.
In a statement, the club wrote that the information was “completely false” and that “not a single detail is correct”.
Paris Saint-Germain is also considering legal action against Le Parisien.
