Lazio achieved a great victory at home against AC Milan.
And there was no talk of who would return home after the victory.

The summit is in Serie A when third-placed Lazio take on second-placed Milan at home at Rome’s Olimpico.
But it was never an exciting match.
Maurizio Sarri’s side hit the gas immediately and in the fourth minute scored the visitors’ goal after Sergej Milinkovic-Savic finished off a brilliant attack with a wide cross.

The home team acted with inspiration and in the 38th minute it was up again.
This time it was Mateja Zakanyi’s turn to hit the net, taking advantage of a rebound off the post by Adam Marocic into the open goal.
Milan struggled desperately to create chances going forward and apart from a long shot from Tonali in the first half, Providel at Lazio had a quiet evening.
“They can’t be stopped”
A little less than 60 minutes later, the guests made a triple substitution, but it did not have the desired effect. Instead, the home side managed to extend it to 3-0 through Luis Alberto’s penalty – and 4-0 (!) via Felipe Anderson with a quarter of an hour remaining.
Once Lazio rolls, they are unstoppable. They are skilled footballers and you should not give them time, Ajdarevi says, it is the worst thing you can do to them.
Milan were outplayed and had to focus on stopping the bleeding rather than chasing reduction targets.
It’s not a good result and it’s been a difficult few weeks for Milan. But you still have everything in your hands in terms of Champions League position and so on. You just have to get back the mentality you had in the last year, says Ajdarevi.
The result means Lazio are now just one point behind last year’s champions, who in turn trail Napoli by 12 points at the top of the table.
