Linköping won against Brommapojkarna – now leads the Women’s League

The plug broke in the second half.

Linköpings FC defeated Brommapojkarna 4-0 and now leads the Women’s League.

It’s fun, says Emma Lennartsson on Fiplay.

The Bromma boys fought for a long time, but when the second half started, Linköping was rewarded for his goal chances.

Therese Simonson broke the deadlock elegantly in the 55th minute.

Shooter queen scorer

When Simonson was left unguarded in the attacking penalty area, she was given the time she needed to receive the ball and put it into the right cross.

Once the scoring streak was broken, goals continued to arrive, via a corner kick and a free kick.

Emma Lennartsson made it 2-0 and top scorer Amalie Vangsgaard scored her 14th goal of the season when she scored 3-0.

– We talked before about the need to be patient, because they are good at defending and closing areas. We needed to be patient and move the ball, and then hopefully it would drop. It took half a game and a little more, Emma Lennartsson on FiPlay says.

Leading the women’s league

Yuka Momiki made the final 4-0 with a fine left-footed shot from the penalty area line and Linköping now has double reasons to celebrate.

Linköping now overtakes Rosengård and leads the women’s league. The LFC has 40 points, which is one point more than a competitor who, however, plays a game less.

– It’s fun, notes Emma Lennartsson.

In the next match, he awaits the series final away against Rosengård.
