The goal drought was broken with 0.2 seconds left in the first half against Rogel.

Linus Omark admits he had a tough time.

– Obviously I started to doubt, says the Lulea star to TV4.

September 16 was the last time Linus Omark scored a goal in the SHL.

The returning star scored only one goal in the first 15 matches of the season and was unlucky.

-We made an incredible amount, but the disk didn’t want to go in. I usually go through difficult periods every season,” Omark says on TV4.

Small margins

The drought was broken in the first period of Saturday’s home game against Rogel.

The referees were forced to review the goal because it was scored before the end of the first half. But the footage showed that the ball crossed the goal line with about twenty minutes left in the match.

-I prayed to the hockey gods that I would score a goal. They were on my side this time, so I hope it continues, says Omark on TV4.

“low self-esteem”

Omark admits he had a tough time.

– Apparently I’m starting to doubt that he’s human. The last few games my self-confidence was really low and I wasn’t myself. I’ve been waiting for a lucky bounce and now I’m going to go out and put on a show, he says at the first period break.

The goal meant 2-1 for Luleå, but at the start of the second half Rogel equalized.
