Lionel Messi’s name tattooed on his forehead – he regrets it

Many cheered Lionel Messi’s success in the World Cup.

Colombian influencer Mike Gambs was so excited that he tattooed Messi’s name on his forehead.

“I regret getting the tattoo,” he said, according to the Daily Mail.

Lionel Messi led the Argentina national team during the World Cup in Qatar. During the final match against France, Messi scored two goals, and also scored the penalty kick in the decisive penalty shootout.

Afterwards, there were huge scenes of joy, as up to five million Argentines paid tribute to their World Cup heroes.

But it wasn’t just Argentina that people were happy with the gold and Messi’s efforts. Colombian influencer Mike Gambs was one of many who chose to honor the 35-year-old Messi. And he did it a little differently.

Jambs chose to tattoo Messi’s name on his forehead. According to the Daily Mail, the influencer initially defended his decision after facing criticism.

– I don’t hurt anyone, I don’t do anything illegal, Jambs is said to have said at the beginning.

“I wish I hadn’t”

But Jambs now thinks he should have acted differently.

– I regret getting a tattoo. Instead of it leading to positive things, it has led to a lot of negativity, personally and for my family, according to the Daily Mail.

– I didn’t think I’d say this so soon, because I felt so proud of what I’d done. But now I wish I hadn’t.
