But Liverpool did not end there.
Mohamed Salah made it 4-0, Darwin Nunez added with a quarter of normal time remaining and Mohamed Salah made it six when he took advantage of a sloppy work in the United defence.

After all was said and done, Liverpool won 7-0 after Roberto Firmino, who is set to leave the club this summer, scored in the closing stages.
