Yes, it’s not that Callie Rosen has cemented himself in the Blues line-up this season after a few years when he was mainly living in the farm association.
It was certainly one of the few positive upsets in a year when most things went so wrong that General Manager Doug Armstrong now seems about to dismantle the last remnants of the 2019 championship team.
Against Arizona last night, the 29-year-old — who came to North America already for the 2017-18 season and is also affiliated with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Colorado Avalanche — scored two smoking goals and did it within 49 seconds of the third period.
“We had a good feeling coming out in the third and I think we showed that at least in the first 10 minutes,” he says modestly.
Others are less modest in their efforts.

The only problem was that during the second part of the final period, the Blues managed to lose a 5-2 lead against the Coyotes and only when O’Reilly sent the puck into overtime was order restored.
