30 wins out of 32 possible.

Luleja finished off a stellar regular season in the SDHL Women’s Hockey League with a resounding 6-0 victory over fellow AIK.

Who will be able to stop the team from getting their 5th consecutive SM Gold?

– There are many good teams, but we must fight for SM gold, says Lulea frontman Petra Nieminen to C More.

Nieminen scored a hat-trick in the series finale and teammate Nora Tolos scored four points, two goals and two assists.

– We played really well today, we skated a lot and pushed hard. When we play like today, it’s hard to match us, says Nieminen.

Lulea will face HV71’s eighth series quarter-final, in a best-of-three match, starting Wednesday in Jönköping.

Luleå only lost two matches in the entire season, both against league runners-up Brynäs away from home. Gävle’s team, which was eight points behind at the end, lost the last SM series in the last two years against Norrbotten’s team.

Brynäs finished the regular season by defeating Linköping 6-2. Point queen Lara Stalder scored two goals and played up to two goals.

The star attacker, who is moving to Switzerland after this season, won the SDHL’s scoring league title for the fourth year in a row, this time with 61 points (18 goals + 43 assists).

Brinas and Linköping meet again in the quarter-final match. This is what happened in two other cases, Modu beat SDE 2-1 after a penalty shootout, Leixand beat Djurgården 3-1 and the two teams faced each other in the quarter-finals.
