A rival meeting in the north – and it was about a few goals and heated feelings.
But Linus Omark and Oscar Eklund hit Skellefteå with two goals in five seconds as Luleå won 2–0.
– Great for scoring two quick goals and he can play the game after that, says Omark.
David Rautio has made the controversial choice to play for Skellefteå. The former Luleå goalkeeper has only played one game this season, when he conceded just one goal.
But when Skellefteå came to Luleå, Rautio got his chance against his old club – and kept a clean sheet for a long time.
The first meeting between the two teams was scoreless and narrow and ended 1-0 to Luleå, after Mario Kempe decided.
Even the second meeting between the two teams, this time in Luleå, remained goalless for a long period.
Linus Omark scored the decisive goal twelve minutes before the end of the third period, scoring the goal over his friend David Rautio.
And when I got away on the goal kick, I actually got away.
Just five seconds later, Oscar Eklund made it 2-0. Then the crowded yard boiled.
And this is in numerical advantage since Jonathan Budas attacked Omark:
– He gave me a cross at the back, we got the PP and scored 2-0, so that’s good, says Omark, who then praised the atmosphere:
– As always, wonderful. Sweden’s best fans and they showed it today.
The stars in fierce duels
After a somewhat cautious first period, a series of infected duels broke out, which in several cases turned into battles.
• Bar Lindholm vs Linus Omark.
• Peter Granberg vs. Brendan Shenemin
• Frederic Allard vs. Anton Häkkinen
• Lindholm back against Shenemen again
There you only have a choice.
Not least the team’s stars, Linus Omark and Pär Lindholm. They made some tough tackles on each other and ended up clubbing Omark Lindholm, who looked like his hand was hurting him.
Luleå camp wanted to film from Skellefteåforwarden.
– The best 0-0 match I’ve seen since the last time they met. Real Madrid semi-final, the feeling of the seventh decider in this match and I like it very much. “I just sit back and enjoy,” says TV4 expert Niklas Wickegaard.
Bar Lindholm was equally enthusiastic:
-I also enjoy fun hockey and these games are more fun to play.
