Thomas Kollar seems annoyed by Ashton’s interference
Malmö won a dramatic match against Leksand 3-2.
However, both Frederik Handemark and Christopher Forsberg were hit hard – and Malmo coach Tomas Kolar was upset by Carter Ashton’s tackle on the latter.
– I am very surprised because it will not take more than a second, says Kollar in the TV4 Play broadcast.
In the second period, the accident occurred to Christopher Forsberg.
Anton Johansson pushed Forsberg at the same time as Carter Ashton came up front and tackled him. Malmo’s assistant captain lay there and covered his face. After a while, he was able to get up, but he went straight to the dressing room.
Ashton was sent off for two minutes.

Von Barnekov scored both goals
However, it started well for Malmö after 20-year-old William von Barnekov’s brace in the first half.
The third period was a seesaw story with Leksand scoring with a 0-2 two goal lead. But that was not enough for Dallajit.
Alan Quinn found the right goal for Malmo on the power play and the home team won 3-2.
