In an interview with the club’s website, club president Anders Palsson spoke about miscalculation in the local game.
– We are not among the absolute top when we enter the last third of the Allsvenskan and it is clearly painful.
– We have invested over 130 million this year in Malmö FF until August. 80 of these are in acquiring players. The remaining 50 are in the facilities and amenities around the stadium area. For my part, I’d rather invest in a number of good players who can succeed in Allsvenskan and are at a good level in Europe than having a star player, says Anders Pålsson.
