The Malmö FF women’s team was once again superior.
On Saturday evening, the undefeated team celebrates with shots and next year there will be matches in the third division.

For the third year in a row Malmo FF Advance into the league system – this time after a 10-0 aggregate in the playoffs against Åhus IF.
– We’re in the middle of our journey. We’ve won three series now and have three series left. So far, says captain Cornelia Lindgren, all has gone according to plan.

Cornelia Lindgren has led her MFF through Division 2 this year, racking up 20 straight wins and a 143-5 goal difference.
– I think we had a good season. We’ve up our game and show that we’re taking steps in the right direction. We have excelled in the series, but our performance is still getting better and better,” says the 30-year-old.
His teammate Saga Fredrickson is very proud of the journey the MFF team has taken.
– What do you say about it? Above all, we look at the development we have as a team, and the magic of facing better opposition every year is that we experience new things. It can be seen, says Fredrickson, that we have a step inside of us.

Both Cornelia Lindgren and Saja Fredrickson believed the qualifying matches against Ohus were in control.
“They’re a bit exhausted bodies, but overall I think we’ve done well and have both qualifying games under control,” says Lindgren.
Many players joined the fourth class flight.
How long will you stay together?
– It’s hard to answer, changes occur in formations regardless of your level. Players quit for various reasons and then new players come along. This is the case in all forces.
Saga Fredriksson hopes to continue, despite her work as a television expert at Viaplay.
– The dream was to be able to do everything. My ambition is always to be able to put it together so it works. “We haven’t started writing any new contract, but I hope the club will think the same and we’ll see where he goes,” Fredrickson says.

Cornelia Lindgren confirms that the MFF will be ready for Division 1, the division that falls under the elite.
The series system is now being changed and will be tougher than Class 1 next year. But we are ready and we will win it too. She says, I think we have good chances.
