“Greetings? Damn what a fucking joke. It’s getting worse,” writes one supporter.

“The evenings that brought us here? Have you taken drugs?”, another writes.

A third wrote: “The humiliation of the evening has taken us here.”

The match jersey is often dark blue, with the exception of some pink details, including the Puma logo and a large Volkswagen logo in the middle of the jersey. The club crest is dark blue.

In most contexts, we play in a blue and white shirt. And then we think that, since we’re so used to being a little ahead of time and early on trying new things, we think that was something we wanted to try this time. Then we get to the evaluation.

The majority of criticism from fans relates to the overshadowing of the club’s logo.

– If you look at match shirts in general, we’re not new to making color-matching shirts. We are not the first to do this. We think it was exciting this time, Nordstrom Carlson explains.

How is the T-shirt a tribute to your European successes?

– We are in Europe since 2014 at the highest level according to Swedish standards. This is part of a larger launch. It’s everything from Milan to Manchester City, Marseille and the like. As a third shirt, it can be fun and exciting to do something new. Now we have to evaluate it for the future. We’ve also received positive feedback, it’s easy to get attached to the negative.

How did you think about choosing the color?

– It’s a dark blue shirt. There is no historical connection. The connection is that we’re part of a bigger launch and then we thought it was exciting to use that kind of color.
