The Copa Libertadores match between Flamengo and Velez Sarsfield was preceded by a scandal.
ESPN reporter Jessica Dias was sexually harassed by a male Flamingo fan who jumped into the live broadcast and kissed her on the cheek.
The police have arrested the man and he is now in the company of Flamengo matches.
The incident occurred as television reporter Jessica Dias and her colleagues on ESPN broadcast live ahead of the Copa Libertadores – South America’s draw for the Champions League – on Thursday and became a sensation in Brazil.
In an Instagram post, Jéssica Dias herself spoke about how she experienced the whole thing.

“We condemn the harassment perpetrated by one of our supporters against ESPN journalist Jessica Dias in connection with a pre-match television programme.
