Lexand stars Marek Hrevik and Peter Celarik have been in open discussions with former SHL profile Libor Hudak on the Slovakian team.
– We discussed and touched on various things, – says Libor Hodasek to the local media.
The Slovak media reported several internal disputes within the Slovak national team.
After Slovakia struggled in a 1-0 win over Slovenia, TV cameras caught Marek Hrevik and Libor Hudacek touching and yelling at each other.
We talked and explained things to each other. We are experienced players, we understand each other and move forward. I think maybe it’s good and makes us more united, says Libor Hodacek.
The problem was the TV pictures.
It was as if Marek Hrivik accused Libor Hodak of something and then sought him out again.
Marek Hrevik and Peter Celarik made it clear to Libor Hudacek that they were not happy with anything and the situation became tense.
– I think it was positive, not negative. Situations like this usually happen in the dressing room and that’s normal. It wasn’t anything special. It was shown on TV, if it is not shown on TV, it will be forgotten and we will move on, says Libor Hudacek.

The controversies are said to have revolved around Libor Hudacek’s attempt to score and take pucks out onto the ice when Slovenia had their goalkeeper sent off, as well as an unnecessary ejection when they were on their way to defending the lead.
– They have no problem criticizing each other, to win a match you need every player. Everyone must sacrifice for the team. These things can happen. Sometimes a leader has to take matters into his own hands. I don’t know exactly what happened, but I’m not worried. We used to fight with our teammates in training. This is part of building a team, says Slovak national team captain Craig Ramsey of Canada, of the three experienced players playing in their 30s.
Marek Hrevik is captain and Petr Cilarik is assistant captain for Slovakia.
Now Libor Hudacek plays in the Czech Republic but he played three seasons for Örebro in the SHL and was loaned to Färjestad for five matches.
During his time in Sweden, he was surrounded by many negative headlines.
Decisive Tuesday
Slovakia has three points and a win in the indoor encounter against Latvia, who are fourth in Group B.
On the final day of the group stage, Slovakia will play Norway against Latvia against Switzerland who finished the group stage.
Tre Kronor plays a final in the group against the United States and finishes first or second in the group, then they have to face fourth or third place in the other group.
In WC, Marek Hrivik has one goal and four assists in six games, Petr Čiliarik has one goal and two assists in four games and Libor Hudacek has one assist in six games.
