Mika Zibanijad is ready for Lollapalooza
On Friday, June 30, Mika Zibanejad will be performing as a DJ at the Lollapalooza music festival at Gärdet in Stockholm. The organizer will announce this on Friday.
“He is ready to provide an unforgettable musical experience alongside his hockey career. His ability to entertain on multiple fronts makes him a true multi-talent” stands to be read.
Mika Zibanejad’s interest in music developed when he was 16 years old, and he made his debut as a DJ ten years ago in an Ottawa nightclub.
Played at Summerburst
In 2019 he played at the Summerburst Festival in Gothenburg.
– During the summer, you miss the adrenaline rush that you get from playing hockey, if you win, and score a goal or something. You get it while you play. It’s something you miss, and it’s nice. At the same time, you’re getting a break from hockey that’s a little different, he told nhl.com.
He has released five songs on Spotify, with the single “Nobody” from 2018 being the most popular with just over 14 million listeners.
Mika Zibanejad scored 91 points in 82 games for the New York Rangers last season, his career best in points.
