The former world’s first Naomi Osakawho won the US Open in both 2018 and 2020, was knocked out of the year’s fourth Grand Slam already in the first round against American Danielle Collins.
A few days after her release, American media reported that she had sold her luxury villa in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, an area known for its huge, expensive homes.
Looking for a place to live in New York
The residence, which has an area of about 300 square meters, contains, among other things, a swimming pool, a gym and a guest house. In addition, there are three bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The value of the sale amounted to about 93 million Swedish kronor, and the buyer is the Bosnian-Canadian tech mogul Milon Tesović.
Osaka herself has moved away from Los Angeles and now lives in the San Fernando Valley.
But the New York Post reported a few days ago that Osaka was looking for a home while she was living in New York, during the US Open, and that she might consider making a home there.
The Japanese, at just 24 years old, ended up 19th on Forbes’ annual list of the world’s highest-paid athletes in 2021. The tennis star made just over SEK 589 million last year. She is currently ranked 44 in the world.
