Defender Niklas Volin scored his first goal in 87 matches.
The 29-year-old works just as hard as a fish-cleaner and shop worker on the side of the ice.
– Coffee and video games are not for me, they work really well, he says.
Niklas Folin is fully focused on playing Modo in the SHL until next season.

During the summer holidays he cleans fish at home in Gothenburg, and during the season he works in a shop at Intersport in Örnsköldsvik.
He has been looking for an extra job at Ö-vik for a long time, having previously worked at Byggmax and worked as a cashier.
– I started my summer job at Volvo in Torslanda when I was 18 years old. Then when I was in college I would work when I came home for the summer to get some money. Then it went on, says Niklas Volin.
“I can’t just play golf.”
During the summer months he worked for a long time as a fish cleaner in a fish shop in Gothenburg.
– I work in a fishing port. I deliver, clean and remove the bones. Niklas Volin says: I think it’s fun to do something else, you can’t just play golf in the summer.
He studied marketing in the US, but it’s not something he pursued.
– It’s not yet relevant or relevant, but I think it’s fun to do something else on the side. I think I feel better as a person if I can go and think about other things and meet people, rather than just being a hockey player all the time. Obviously we train a lot, play a lot and travel a lot. Sometimes we still finish the day at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, and then I’m happy to go to work to stand at the workplace or fold clothes, – says Niklas Vulin.
“I went out of business in the playoffs”
During the finals in Hockeyallsvenskan the atmosphere was intense with frequent matches and a lot of travel.
– I had a vacation during the playoffs, so now I’m not working. Even if we move to SHL, I hope to be able to work this summer. I promised my boss at the port to work as best I could, says Niklas Volin.
In the chaotic match against Djurgården in Hovet, extraordinary top scorer Niklas Follin scored the important 3-1 goal.

The older brother of Three Kronor
He and his older brother Christian Follen, who is three years his senior, excel as defensive tackles and right-handed shooting defenders.
Christian Follin plays for Frölunda and is currently with Tre Kronor in preparations for the Ice Hockey World Cup.
