In April of next year, Nikola Djorjic turned 37 with only one year left on his contract with Degerfors. He doesn’t know if he has the energy to respond.

Season Transformation
Despite the severe injury, there are glimmers of light from Djercic’s season. It wasn’t bright at all during the summer when in windy weather after visiting nightclubs and when Degerfors was in the swamp of the Allsvenskan table.
– I struggled over the summer and decided to help the team. I think I gave a lot to the team and didn’t lose in ten matches. I think I had a big role in that, says Djurdjic and continues:
– I am happy for the boys, they showed that they belong to the Allsvenskan. Now there’s only one match left and I hope we get the points to go forward.
A point away in front of Malmö FF is likely to be enough for a new contract (unless Varberg defeats Sirius by 10 goals). Djordich takes great pride in his role in what could be a savings contract.
It was difficult to get back into the team but I was patient and I think I played some really good games. Like I said, I was just trying to help the team and sometimes I did crap. It was also good to score the very important last minute goal against Helsingborg. We were really bad over the summer and now we have the chance. It’s all up to us.
