It was a season with two sides for Ole Not from Djurgården.
In the regular season of hockey in Allsvenskan, the 30-year-old accounted for 47 points in 52 matches and was, after Markus Kruger, the best player in the team.
But since the season has entered a decisive phase, the right-handed sniper has received less confidence from coach Johan Garbinlov.
– We have other players who are doing better now, Garpenlöv answered after the first final against Modo when Olle Liss sat down in the stands.
‘Not the best change’
In the semi-final against Björklöven, Djurgårdstearnan played the first three matches in the forward twelve before being abruptly dropped from the squad for the fourth match. After that, there was a total of 77 seconds of ice time.
– You always want to be involved and contribute as much as you can and to get, as it were, you have to align yourself with the situation as well. You have to work your best to get the chance. There isn’t much to do about them. We had a good group there and were strong in the end, says Les after Thursday’s ice training in Hovet.
In the latter match, as Djurgården drew 1-1 in matches, he was given only one substitution.
– Then this is probably not the best change in my career. Get in and kick me out immediately, I’ll definitely put the team in a bad spot.
What are the reasons for being poked in some matches?
– You have to take that concretely with him (Garbinloff). But we have a competitive situation, everyone knows that. We have a wide front and back side. We have many who stand at the door and knock. If you get the chance, you just have to show that you want it.

– We have close discussions all the time about the situation and the future. Like I said before, just do it and be ready when the opportunity comes.
How’s that for trust?
Still good, I think. I’m in there like everyone else, we’re a team and the whole team has to do it. I am happy that we won and that we are where we are now. That’s what I came for anyway, to try and play Djurgården.
The final series continues with matches at Hovet on Friday and Sunday.
“It’s very interesting to be able to come back to Hovet again and play in front of packed stands and we also have a good starting position,” says Liss.
