It’s also clear now that assistant coach Jeffrey Obin, 45, will be leaving the MFF team.

The former player profile takes over the position of head coach in Örgryte, Sportbladet knows.

The pieces are starting to fall into place after coaching changes at Malmö FF – and Örgryte IS.

The classic club recently qualified to stay in the super against Sandvikens IF but there were disappointments with performances aimed in part at manager Brynjar Gunnarsson.

According to Sportbladet’s info, he can now leave the red and blue and will be replaced by former Öis profile in Jeffrey Aubynn.

According to sources, Öğrüt is in agreement with former club midfielder Geoffrey Obin to take over as coach in place of Brenjar Gunnarsson, who was forced to leave the club.

Aubynn will likely be introduced by Öis next week.

Obin became Swedish champion as a player with both Halmstads BK and Malmö FF and since 2015 he has been coach in MFF first for the club’s U19 team and since 2020 as assistant coach for the A team.

Obin played for OIS from 2001-2003.

Recently, Henrik Rydström was introduced as the new coach of Malmö FF and soon after it also became clear that Theodor Olsson would join as assistant coach from Sirius.

Malmö FF wanted to keep Aubynn within the organization but must have understood the assistant coach’s desire to take over as head coach.
