The captain of the national team believes that Sweden must improve in individual positions across the field in order to compete with the best national teams.
Offensively, we need passes, but we need individual skill to beat the opponent. England has some very skilled players. We also have some, but we need more. We need to be better at daring to dodge and outsmart opponents, says Gerhardson.
We also have to improve one defense after another. The old defense of having three covers… We have to deal with individual situations defensively. We have to become more skilled in dealing with these things. It’s going really fast now and it showed up yesterday.
