Coach Henrik Rydström made four substitutions, but did not use his biggest titles on the bench – former star Rasmus Elm, player of the Swedish national team 39 times.

Sportbladet Redstrom asked about the condition of the 34-year-old assistant coach at the post-match press conference.
How many minutes does a flag have?
I know Rasmus doesn’t like me saying this: but he has a lot of practice and he’s great. He could play for 15 minutes and dominate.
“Maybe 30 minutes if we’re leading the game,” Redstrom quickly adds.
Then he should play …
– He chose to resign in 2019 after difficult years. There is a difference between being back up in training and getting ready to play a match. It’s great to see Rasmus in training. Seriously, Henrik Rydström says, he can go in completely without overheating and dominate – and he did during the match as well, managing to dodge the question.
A moment later, Rasmus Elm shakes his head at the comments of his friend and direct boss at Kalmar FF.
– I’m in all games. If some guys fall too far on match day they can’t really play, and something happens during the match – then I have to line up. But there are still many, many more to go by. Alam says, I will be the last in all the lists.
Kalmar FF chose to have a squad slightly smaller than the first team (22 players according to location) and with five players away against Haken, Elm had to take a place on the substitute bench.
How many minutes can you handle if you are also forced to come in and play?
– The chance to play is as big as lightning strikes…
– But to answer the question: I don’t know. It depends on the match image. But to stand up and hit some passes in the middle circle, Elm says, I can take it.
15 minutes according to Redstrom. 30 minutes if you drive the game.

But then the 34-year-old, who won the Swedish Gold, Cup and Russian League and played the finals of the Champions League and Championship with Sweden, comes with a surprising (well) promise that he will step in and play for Allsvenskan, on one condition:
– I could have imagined jumping against IFK Gothenburg if Wernbloom had also come in on the other side. Then I wanted to play, says Elm with conviction.
Didn’t that mean a greater risk to the health of both, especially to your own?
– Ha ha ha. no no no. We were kind to each other. It would have been really fun, says Rasmus Elm.
