Brinas bounced back 0-3 to 3-3 for the second straight game.
However, it ended in a loss to Rögle – right in front of Rolf Lassgård’s eyes.
Last Wednesday, Brenas converted from a 0-3 deficit against Lulea into a 7-4 victory. A big victory for Brynäs, who were drawn into the battle for the bottom of the SHL.
And tonight, the Gävle team found themselves in the same situation again. Rögle moved to a 3-0 lead after goals from Adam Tambellini, Daniel Zar and Tony Sund. Brynä coach Mikko Manner chose to do what happened in the previous game, i.e. change the goalkeeper.

This time around, Oliver Håkansson was replaced by Tomi Karhunen and that’s when the pickup process began – right before the very eyes of actor Rolf Lassgård.
The 67-year-old is an outspoken supporter, and tonight he was at Katina Stadium in a Brynäs jersey.
Simon Bertilsson got the cut before the first period break and a jubilant Lassgård zoomed in on the telecast.
In the second half, Brinas scored 3-2 and 3-3 after goals from Kevin Roy and Ola Balf.

Then, Gävle’s side pressed for a key goal, but two dismissals in short order proved costly. In a five-on-three match, Rogl made it 4-3 by Adam Tambellini, and with less than a minute remaining in the second half, Vojtek Muzik fielded it 5-3.
But the match was not decided. Brenas cut back in the third through Dmytro Timashov and then put it 5-5 also into goal, making Rolf Lasgaard roar with delight in the stands.
However, the goal was not allowed, and Brenas was still at a disadvantage. Instead, Rögle managed to stretch again, and Oskar Stål-Lyrenäs made it 6-4 with less than five minutes to play.
As if that wasn’t enough, Daniel Zar also scored 7-4, but the match finally ended 8-5 after late goals by Linus Hollande and Vojtek Muzik.
And so Rolf Lasgaard had to see his team lose, and Brennas is now twelfth in the table. At the same time, Rögle is in seventh place in the SHL.
