Photos of 16-year-old Sarah Beglick caused a strong reaction in the tennis world.
Now she is talking about the accident herself.

On Friday, Sarah Beglick achieved the biggest success of her tennis career to date when she qualified for the US Open Grand Prix.
But it was not the victory itself that was rewritten, but what happened next.
After thanking her opponent for the match, Beglik walked straight to the stands where her father and coach were.

Now Sarah Beglick has spoken for herself.
– It was just a spontaneous reaction from my entire team in the midst of joy. My dad is my dad, he always will be. And she’s known my coach since I was eight, she told Czech website Blesk.
According to Bielik, it’s not a big deal.
– Some may think that it is strange and disgusting, but if this happened in his homeland in the Czech Republic, it would not even have been noticed. It happened now in the USA and then it became a talking point that everyone should comment on….
– Anyway, we discussed it within my team and it won’t happen again, Biglick says.
Once in the main tournament of the US Open, she lost out straight in the first round when she lost in two straight sets to 35th seed Lyudmila Samsonova of Russia.
