Wednesday night defeated scoro first With 22-30 in Eriksdalen in the fourth final.
This means that they took the 15th gold medal in the club’s history and thus entered the history books.
No other club has won more gold medals on the women’s team than before.
– It’s really cool. It’s historic so it’s very exciting to be a part of it, says Sävehof goalkeeper Sophie Borgesson, who thus gave him his last game in the yellow and black jersey this time around.
Transformed after deportation
But it wasn’t easy for Bartheleclopin, who was under real pressure during the first half.
Skurumålet’s Josephine Nordstrom Olsen took a full advantage on Sävehof’s left wing and prevented the away team from reducing damage.
It was not agreed at the end of the first half that Sävehof could actually turn the game around after Skuru was sent off for an incorrect substitution.
After that, Partilleklubben did not leave his opponents.
There was plenty of kick-off for Skoro while Sophie Burgesson made some important saves against Sävehof.
– I was a little slow but in the second half it was now or never, the goalkeeper himself says of his own efforts.
It paved the way for Sävehof to postpone and win the 15th gold medal in the club’s history, which was celebrated with visiting Sävehof fans in Eriksdalshallen.
– It’s great that so many come here. Now we’ll celebrate everything, says Börjesson.
“Party all weekend”
Stockholm girl Frida Russell with a past in Skoro had several relatives in the stands with whom she celebrated the gold medal.
– It’s so much fun, and there’s no other better way to finish. I have many people with family and friends. It’s so much fun, I am so happy, she says.
Russell himself scored five hits in the Golden Match against his former teammates.
– I came here when I was 17, I won nothing, I went to Vasteras and had to show my ID and then I finished this up at Sävehof against Skuru, it’s very nice.
Now she takes her teammates to Stockholm for an all-night party.
There will be a party until tomorrow, the day after and the whole weekend. And Russell concludes that we go to Stockholm now and then go home tomorrow.
