Jonathan Budas.

There’s nothing harder in hockey than a 3-0 lead.

The old clichés are sometimes true.

Rögle lost everything after the first half and Skellefteå won 6-3.

Jonathan Bodas had no praise to offer his teammates in the first half of the first leg against Rugel.

After conceding three goals and not scoring any, the team captain was angry at the poor game and left the defenders to their own devices.

– Sometimes it starts on the right track when we lose a few people and they get into superior positions which makes it difficult for us at the back, says Budas on TV4.

I turned the game around

Budas was also not very tolerant of himself as he lost duels in two goals.

-I have two duels to win. It’s way too much weight. He says it should be much better.

Skellefteå then won the final two periods 6-0.

Buda top scorer

The score was 3-3 before the last period became furious.

Elias Salomonsson conceded a penalty kick in the match after cross-checking Rodrigo Opels, but the numerical superiority did not pay off for Rogel and before that Skellefteå had also turned the game around.

Jonathan Budas took the lead six minutes into the third period and soon after Anton Häkkinen was on the scoresheet as he made it 5-3 for the visitors.

Skellefteå eventually won 6-3 and leads the standings with 20 points in ten matches. Rögle started slowly and had 13 points in as many games.
