Rosengård’s Sophie Bridgaard, 20, has been named Midfielder of the Year in ‘Obos Damallsvenskans Bästa’.

“it meant a lot”
Regarding the award, the Dane had to wipe a tear after a video of tribute from Father Frantz. He fell ill earlier this year, which prompted Bredgaard to change Linköping to Rosengård to be closer to family.
– They meant (the family) a lot. It was very difficult, because they are there for me every home game, and many away games too, it means a lot. It’s a price for them, too, says Bredgaard.
