Stockholm Nord wins the TV disc

Stockholm Nord’s dominance on television is complete.

The fourth title in the last five years came after a great final drama against Södermanlund.

Scoring king Viggo Björck became a great hero.

The score was 3-3 after normal time and extra time was required to decide the final.

There, Stockholm’s captain and star Viggo Björk became a hero when he brilliantly scored the winning goal after a free pass.

Which means that Stockholm Nord continues to firmly control the TV dial. This victory is the fourth in the past five years

For Södermanlund, this was the first final in 21 years and he was very close to victory.

The teams had completely opposite paths to reaching the final. Stockholm Nord scored goals in both the quarter and half, while Södermanlund only scored twice in attack – but on the other hand did not concede anything behind them.

Södermanland goalkeeper Hampus Flodqvist kept a clean sheet for 80 minutes, but in the final he was forced to surrender after just over six minutes.

Bax Kleffner scored the main goal.

However, praise came quickly when Sodermanlund got the opportunity on the power play.

Hjalmar Selth scored 1-1 on the power play after 7.11.

“Fun too”

Södermanland flowed. Christian Vorovic took advantage of a free situation and scored 2-1, but Stockholm managed to equalize before half-time.

-I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I would be. It was really fun, Vorovic says in a breakout interview.

Stockholm captain Viggo Björk was not pleased:

– Carelessness, too many bad passes, but good pace and beautiful goals, says Björk.

The second period was only 38 seconds long when Björk scored the go-ahead goal that Markus Nordmark played well.

But Södermanland continued to have the numerical superiority. Adam Anderson shot 3-3 after 6.40.

But in the end, the tournament’s points king, Viggo Bjork, had the final say.
