With exactly one week left until the SHL premiere, Skellefteå is introducing a new possession with offensive skills.

The 28-year-old Canadian forward, Dylan Sikora, has NHL credentials and scored 79 points in 66 AHL games two seasons ago.

“I think I can use my speed and understanding of the game to score a lot of goals,” he says.

Kenny Agostino had a contract with Skellefteå for two days before it was terminated.

Now Skellefteå has brought in Dylan Sikura in his stead as striker in the squad build.

The Västerbotten club gave him the statement “In recent years he has developed into one of the most prominent profiles in the AHL”.

In five seasons, there have been 58 NHL appearances for the Chicago Blackhawks, Vegas Golden Knights, and Colorado Avalance.

And he highlights the 2021/2022 season with 79 points (35 goals and 44 assists) in 68 games for the Colorado Eagles in the NBA.

– I played with two guys who played in Skellefteå, Andreas Fingerli and Philip Ross. They loved the city and the team. “I remember them always praising her,” says Dylan Sikora.

He presents himself as a playmaker and striker who is ready to shoot.

Throughout my career, power play has been a big part of my game. “So I’m hoping to make it work when I take him to the big ice surface in the SHL as well,” says Dylan Sikora.

The contract with Skellefteå is written during the next season.

The club previously signed strikers Oscar Lindberg, Anton Hekkinen and Martins Dzirkals.
