Sweden beat Denmark
TAMMERFORS / Stockholm. Sweden plays a decisive match in the group victory against the United States.
Tre Kronor defeated Denmark 4-1 on Monday.

Monday’s victory over Denmark means Sweden’s match against the United States tomorrow will be a decisive head-to-head match for Group A victory at the World Cup.
Because the USA comes clean, Tre Kronor must win the game (in normal time or after overtime/penalties) to win first place.
He may have to face Canada
It is still not clear what it means for the opposition team in the quarter-finals to finish first in the group.
The winner of Group A will face the fourth in Group B, which is currently Latvia. Slovakia can also finish fourth in Group B if the team defeats Norway in their last group stage match while Latvia loses to Switzerland.
Canada and the Czech Republic – who meet in their last group match – also risk dropping to fourth place and having to face either Sweden or the USA.
If Sweden loses to the United States and finishes second in Group A, they will face third place in Group B, which will likely be Switzerland or Canada. It might be Latvia too, if the team gets points against group winners Switzerland.
Goalkeeper Jesper Wallstedt is looking forward to the game against the USA.
– It would be interesting. It’s a group final and it determines whether we are allowed to stay here or go to Latvia and play. It will be incredibly fun. I look forward to that. Hopefully we can beat the Americans, says Wallstedt, and that would have been fun.

Monday’s match against Denmark was not a raucous spectacle and cheers.
In the end, it was Sweden’s 4-1 victory despite Niklas Jensen giving Denmark the lead in the fourth minute.
– I still think it’s a stable match. It’s a little tricky to let me in on the first take, Jesper Wallstedt says.
Trey Kronor equalized through Dennis Everberg in the first period before Andre Peterson scored the lead on a power play in the second period.
In the end, Lukas Raymond scored 3-1 in the third period and Karl Grundström scored 4-1.
