Fourth in a row in the Nations League
The fourth consecutive loss came in the Nations League on Saturday evening.
Sweden fell 4-1 away to Serbia after a hat-trick from Premier League star Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Blågult must now beat Slovenia to stay in Group B.
Sweden shocked Serbia and took the lead after a dream attack.
A long throw-in found its way to Emil Forsberg, who found Dejan Kulusevski, who released Viktor Claesson.
Hat trick for Mitrovic
However, Sweden won’t have a fun night at Rajko Mitić Stadium despite Claesson’s icy finish that gave Blågult the lead.
Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic quickly equalized when he won a header against Daniel Sundgren and shortly before the break with a header from Serbia.
Just two minutes into the second half, Mitrovic completed a hat-trick when Sweden lost him in the penalty area.
The final score 4-1 was nailed by Saša Lukić who was allowed to open the ball 20 minutes before play.
– I don’t really know what we’re doing here in defense, says expert Pontus Komark on TV6.

Sweden has now lost the last four matches. Norway and Serbia beat Sweden twice in the Nations League.
Saturday’s loss also means Sweden are now under pressure to take three points in their last Nations League game. If Blågult does not win at home to Slovenia at Friends Arena on Tuesday, he falls into Group C in the next edition of the tournament.
Serbia is battling with Norway for promotion to Group A and needs an away win over the Norwegians on Tuesday to do so.
