TAMMERFORS / Stockholm. Peter Gerhardsson threw in a lot of offensive players at the start of the match.
After that, certified effort and efficiency in the penalty area was enough for a comfortable victory in the final match of the World Cup qualifiers.
This is the Sportbladet player rating for Blågult after their 4-0 win over Finland.
A goal keeper:
Jennifer Falk
He had to really tackle the sweat when the defense was neglected and Linda Salestrom was clean. The game reads well and there is often a break. They avoided one and two Finnish chances when they found their way into the area behind the Swedish defense line.
The back line:
Natalie Bjorn
Tread with confidence and lie often correctly. She plays smart and shows that she wants to play in the back line. Grow more and more to become a leader in this field.
Linda Cimbrandt
Stable and secure in position as the center gear in Gerhardsson’s triple line defense. It again shows how severe it is in specific situations. The 35-year-old’s header is often what Sweden look for in the penalty area and it has paid off elsewhere.
Magdalena Erickson
He had problems with passing in the first half and was also responsible for a real calling.
central field:
Olivia Shaw (79)
The magical position that freed Rulfo in the remote position. But the left-back on the other edge is the one who gets the most ball from his side of the field. You handled the new position well.
Philippa Engeldahl
He was not the best of ball friends and lost it several times in the first half. He played a bit in the second half, but Engeldahl was and will have a better international burden.
Ellen Robinson
The midfield sometimes struggled to hold Finland, in large part due to their penetration of the pressing game up the field in the first half. It wasn’t a great game by Robinson, but it does equal a mark of success because Sweden had more control of the match in the second half.
Fridolina Rulfo
He was set up as a wing-back but his starting position wasn’t too far in the plane. He often gets involved in offensive play and carries the ball forward in his signature way several times, although it’s not usually an end product.
Perhaps Sweden’s best player and he got the score – in the end.
attacks:
Kosovar Aslani (60)
A perfect pass when Stina Blackstenius fired a freestyle to reach 1-0. Otherwise, she didn’t really get into the offensive match and she and her teammates had problems in the pressure game.
Stena Blackstinius (60)
He barely participated in the match and did not touch the ball many times. However, once I got deeper and did what she had as the main task to do – the goal.
Lena Hurtig (60)
A great combination with Aslani, who gave his teammate a great position in the penalty area. Then she found a large space in front of the backline for Finland which she took advantage of when she pushed the ball forward and delivered a cannonball. Sweden’s 2-0 goal was beautiful!
under consideration
Rebecca Blomqvist (60)
A great opportunity for the net right after his relegation, but Tenga Rika Korbella saved it in the net. However, he hit the ball into the Finland penalty area after a few minutes and made it 4-0 on his own with a fine finish. Shares boosted!
Madeleine Ganouji (60)
Come with energy with Blomqvist. However, she didn’t make a big impression in the attacking game and didn’t get the ball right when she shot it perfectly clean in front of goal.
Jonah Anderson (60)
Nice corner kick that Sembrandt hit the net just minutes after scoring.
Hanna Benison (72) – Played too short to be rated.
Johanna Rytting Kaneryd (79) – Played for too short a time to rank.
