After a trip where the passenger was named Manuel NeuerFC Bayern Munich and Germany goalkeeper Hazir S., 48, discovered that Neuer’s wallet had been left in the car.
Everything was in it: driver’s license, ID card, credit card and 800 euros in cash.
Hazir S. spent. The next morning he cycled towards Noir’s home and summer house in Tegernsee without finding him. Instead, after several trips and a total expenditure of 400 euros, he handed over the wallet to a Neuer agent.
A few days later, a package arrived at the driver’s house, containing a signed match shirt. The disappointment was palpable.

– This “finding salary” is a mockery! Hazir S. said: For German newspaper Bild: I have four children, there is nothing I can do with this shirt.
Now the story has taken a new turn.
Former Bayern icon and 1990 World Cup-winning West Germany captain Lothar Matthaus read the article and offered to buy Neuer’s jersey from Hazir S. It was then auctioned to charity and eventually sold for €1,000. Then Matthews personally paid the same amount to Hazir S.
