Khaled Salman is a former player in the national football team Qatar. With the nation hosting this year’s World Cup, which kicks off on Sunday, 60-year-old Salman is one of the faces of the tournament in the form of an ambassador.
He made headlines when he described homosexuality as a “mind injury” to German broadcaster ZDF.
On the same topic, reporter Jochen Breyer and the TV crew were invited to a house where Salman, his son and his friends, all men, were watching Spanish football.
