Former national team star: “Surprise”
National team star and former television expert Frida Ostberg, 44, will become a mother for the fourth time.
On Instagram, Ostberg tells that she is 40-plus weeks pregnant.
– It was a little surprise, she says.
– Of course it feels great now that I’ve got there. But everything went well, we are healthy and the other children are waiting, says Ostberg when Sportbladet arrived at her.
She points out that the last period in which a pregnant woman was pregnant was heavy due to the heat.

Ostberg put the shoes on the shelf in 2010, after successful careers at Umeå, Linköping and Chicago Red Stars. In addition, she participated in 78 international matches between 2001-2009.
Following her career, she worked as an SVT expert for over ten years, until last year.
She is currently working as a project manager for the Reboot project for the Swedish Football Association. A project targeting unemployed youth, with the aim of bringing participants closer to work or study.
This means that for the first time in a long time, she will be watching the national team at home from the sofa.

What would it be like not to work as an expert during the European Championships?
You will miss your teammates and be in the hot air now that you haven’t trained enough to be with them. It’s a very interesting job back then, especially when you have colleagues of mine. I’ve been fortunate to work with people like Jane Bjork and Danielle Nanskoog. It’s a good group.
At the same time, it’s fun to be able to watch football without having to think about two steps forward all the time. Now I can sit back and have a lot of opinions or not.
How will you follow the European Championships?
– I wanted to be there, because I think it would be a great tournament. For me, Sweden is the golden favourite, she says and offers herself a quick analysis of why:
