SVT kicked off the Sports Gala by mocking the men’s national soccer team.
Presenters Måns Zelmerlöw and Pernilla Wiberg laughed at Blågult’s lack of success.
– But listen, what fights are we looking forward to in Group C of the Nations League, huh? Gibraltar and Kosovo, Goosebumps, Zelmerlöw said sarcastically.
The men’s national soccer team usually has players and/or managers nominated at the Sports Gala.
Not this time.
2022 has been a difficult year for Jan Andersson, and as a result there is no award at this year’s ceremony.
It wasn’t long before SVT presenters Måns Zelmerlöw and Pernilla Wiberg reveled in this very fact.

A few minutes into the ceremony, Blagult was upset.

Lagerback: “boring”
When former national team captain Lars Lagerbäck was interviewed by Sportbladet on the red carpet prior to the ceremony, he was entirely convinced by the fact that no Blagult players or captains were nominated for the evening’s awards.
– Sad for football, but it wasn’t the best year either, so you have to respect that, he said.
