The new Swedish silver in the EC . directive

Sweden won another medal at the European Steering Championships.

The third Swedish team took the silver in Sunday’s relay.

And the Swedish team’s first in the relay, made up of yesterday’s gold and bronze medals, Albin Redfeldt and Gustav Bergmann, failed to follow up on the middle distance success.

Instead, the Swedish third team was the most impressive.

Viktor Svensek was the first to come out and he had two, Norway’s Magne Daehlé and Henrik Johansson in the Swedish second team. On change, Svensk was third across the finish line, 20 seconds behind Daehli and 23 seconds behind Johannesson.

When Isac von Krusenstierna took over after the second change, neither he nor Anton Johansson in the Swedish second team outperformed Norway’s Kasper Harlem Voser. Johansson was a minute behind Harlem Vosser in third gear and von Krusenserna another 10 seconds behind Johansson.

After that, an even fight awaited between Max Peter Bejmer and Emil Svenske in the Swedish second team and Swiss Matthias Kippors.

Bejmer had a strong race and after Emil Svensk ran a bit in the 19th control, both Bejmer and Kyburz were able to overtake and run to second and third respectively in front of Emil Svensk in the Swedish team’s second.

The third Swedish team consisting of Albin Redfeldt, Martin Rigborn and Gustav Bergmann finished fifth.
