Former rugby player Michael Lesha has impressive credentials from the Australian NRL League. The 29-year-old, who represented the Cronola Sharks and the Canterbury Bulldog, had 36 points in 113 games before retiring last year.
Although he is no longer active, he has nonetheless become a man in the headlines.
On Friday, he was acquitted of domestic violence charges during a triangular drama, according to several international media reports.
On the verge of dying from blood loss
Last February, during a party at his house, Lesha caught his girlfriend Kara Childerhouse having sex with his former classmate Adam Elliott. Everything made the 29-year-old see red and had an outburst of anger.
It turned out in court that he was in shock, heavily influenced by alcohol, and broke into his house, breaking a pane of glass. At the same time, he was said to have shouted, “I’m going to fucking kill her,” according to a witness.
All of this resulted in Lesha seriously injured his arm that almost cost him his life. He was forced to undergo surgery after losing approximately 2.5 liters of blood.

acquittal of assault charges
In the aftermath of the incident, he was charged with domestic violence, after Childerhouse informed him of the assault charge.
However, Friday’s trial took an unexpected turn.
Childerhouse did not appear to testify despite being summoned. It must be because she’s pregnant and doesn’t want to stir up feelings again.
Instead, a statement in which she retracted her allegations was used as evidence. His former classmate Adam Elliott also believes Lesha is innocent, and the court ruled at the time.
– I’m glad the truth has finally come out. Lesha said after I was acquitted, I was absolutely sure of the truth the whole time.
