In the Division 3 match, referee Jesper Ek was tackled by a Whitehorse player.

Expressen writes that the referee had to be taken to hospital and that he broke his arm.
The incident occurred in the Division 3 meeting between Vita Hasten and Motala. A player in a White Hästen uniform chased a player with a puck into Motala and then tackled the referee.
The player received no on-ice penalty.

Vita Hästen sporting director Jesper Samuelsson says the whole thing was an accident and they should speak to the player when the team returns to Norrköping.

Niklas Ahlam, who is in charge of referees in the Östergötland region, wrote in a short text message to the newspaper that Ek had broken his arm and that the incident would be reported to the disciplinary committee.
