The match in the Stockholm derby was the match of the stands.
who won? Djurgården or AIK?
Sportbladet On the efforts of the heels.
Djurgarden
typhus:
Zoo enthusiasts would have staged a cute flag, crackle and tifo rings. It gave a nice environment when the players entered the ice. Along the entire short side, there was also a sign reading “Stockholm Pride – Best in Town Since 1891”. The rating was greatly reduced due to unnecessary pyrotechnics.
Equal:
Part of the trap of playing in a large arena like Avicii Arena is that, unfortunately, it dies a bit between sets. Djurgården couldn’t last the whole match and let AIK fight back when they fell silent momentarily.
Maximum volume:
It came for obvious reasons when the home team scored. Otherwise, the fans managed to create deafening cheers when they took turns singing “Kom igen Djurgårn” with the audience in the seats.
disparity:
There were classic rhymes sung from Djurgårdsklacken all evening long. There were no rhymes that surprised her and she made one jump. After all, Djurgården has an extensive repertoire and its cheering songs are peppered with sour pikes.
Size:
Really good turnout from the home fans who pretty much filled the upper and lower floors. Zoos were on their toes and had filled up their section long before the drop. Not much more could be required.
AIK
typhus:
TiVo is completely non-existent. The only thing that was heard was uninspired applause.
Equal:
AIK’s heel was unfortunately too soft to be heard in Avicii’s arena full of zookeepers. Moreover, the cheers for long moments and casual applause died down and individual cheers instead attempted to fill the silence.
Maximum volume:
As previously mentioned, the away team were outvoted for most of the game and struggled with pressure from just one away section. The louder came when Zion Nebec tied the game in the first period. Then the guests showed that they were there.
disparity:
Just like the home team, the classic chant was sung from the away goal. The guests were almost at their best when they taunted Djurgården with chants of “You’re the one Hammarby”.
Size:
Here, many chairs were empty upstairs and downstairs. It cannot be said that the fans of AIK closed behind their team. I felt like the whole thing was a little let down beforehand. Maybe they wait until the game on Thursday?
