This is how the public league ended in the 2022/2023 season

Lulea and Rogel were huge disappointments on the sporting front, but both drew bigger audiences than ever before.

Brynäs, in a deep sporting crisis, also has the second best crowd average ever, and the HV71 finished third in the crowd league during its difficult season.

The total crowd figure of 2,170,826 in the regular season is also a new record.

Sporting success doesn’t seem to be the same as the fans who join the SHL.

Table leaders Växjö and Skellefteå finished 13th and 12th respectively in the public league, Oskarshamn with a smaller arena was the worst.

Växjö with its occupancy of 82.8 percent and Skellefteå with 85.1 percent, on the other hand, is better than Malmö (48.5 percent), Linköping (73.8 percent), Leksand (79.3 percent) Brennas (80, 4 percent), and Frölunda (82.3%).

Lulea with 6,000 spectators and Rögle with 5,904 had the best average attendance ever.

Brynäs with 6,357 spectators, Örebro with 5,334 and Oskarshamn with 3,081 had the second-best crowd averages ever.

Frölunda first in the audience league

The total attendance of 2,170,826 spectators broke the previous record of 2,159,989 from the 2019/2020 season.

The average attendance for the 2022/2023 season finished at 5,964 spectators which is 11th best ever, and the best season was 2011/12 with 6,393 spectators.
